As I always say—and my family is probably tired of hearing me say—Homecoming week is my favorite week of the year. And there is truly no better day than LobsterFest Day!

To see the joy on people’s faces as they enjoy their meal by the ocean, in the park, surrounded by generations of families, is truly special. Our businesses and community come together each year to help fund and support this beloved tradition, and that spirit of generosity is part of what makes Beverly so unique.

I love Beverly Homecoming because it just brings together all the things I love—being around people, enjoying life by the ocean, seeing our community come together, supporting local nonprofits, and celebrating our city.

I’m proud to have been part of the Beverly Homecoming Committee for more than 10 years, and even more proud to have had the honor of leading this event for the last six. This year, our 60th celebration, we hit milestones that make me especially grateful:

  • More meals served than ever before

  • More attendees than ever before

  • More events than ever before

Beverly Homecoming continues to grow because of the dedication of our committee and our community. Each year, it reinforces love for our city and what makes Beverly such a special place to call home.
