The election didn’t go our way. Hannah was the clear winner last night, and I want to sincerely congratulate her on a well-run campaign and a hard-earned victory.

To the more than 1,400 people who came out to support me and our message—thank you. You showed that affordability, accountability, and transparency matter. You showed that having someone from our district, someone who understands the community because they grew up and work here, matters. You believed in the importance of balance on Beacon Hill, and I’m incredibly grateful for your support.

To the volunteers who gave their time and energy, to the incredible team that stood by me every single day since our December 27th launch, to the donors who helped amplify our message, to the hundreds who put up lawn signs, signed nomination papers, and voted—thank you. None of this would have been possible without you.

When we started this campaign, our message was simple: I love Beverly, and I love this district. I was born here. I’ve gone to the schools. I’ve run a small business here. I know the challenges and opportunities our neighbors face every day. And I’m proud that we never wavered in that message.

The choice in this election was clear, and while we came up short, the work doesn’t stop here. We must continue to demand accountability from those who represent us. We must keep pushing for the audit the people voted for. And we must keep speaking out against the state’s out-of-control tax-and-spend policies.

I’m not going anywhere. I will continue to serve Beverly—as I always have.

I look forward to continuing as President of Beverly Homecoming as we celebrate 60 years, as Vice President of the Beverly Farms Improvement Society helping to enhance our beautiful coastal village, as founding Vice President of Beverly 400+ helping to plan our city’s 400th anniversary in 2026, as a board member of the Beverly Holiday Parade Committee, and as a board member of the West Beach Corporation. And this June, I’m proud to celebrate 15 years in business—right here in the city I love.

Thank you for believing in me. The campaign may be over, but the work continues.
